Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away. We have all had our moments: good, bad, both of them :) "A cherished moment in life cannot be expressed", you would say. Read on to find out this expression of a 'moment'.

Moments that change you don’t have to come with music, fireworks and confetti. They don’t have to be the result of a profound thought, a deep conversation or a noble act. Sometimes, it’s the most random action that affects you. Shakes you to the core and reshapes you so much that you’re never the same again. And the more contrasting the cause and the effect, the bigger the impact will be.

The Ocean, as mysterious as the smoking eyes of a beautiful maiden, remains unexplored for the most part, hiding its vast potential underneath a shroud of water and darkness. With every voyage taken and every storm survived, revealing more and more about it. And just like the ocean, every human being too, is a treasure trove of talent, just waiting to be found. With every day we live, every struggle we face, we learn about ourselves, little by little. This painting by Bibhash Morang, reminds us of the undiscovered magnificence of this maiden, and draws a parallel between the ocean and human life. There is just one word to describe this piece: ‘AMAZING’!

“We started with a simple hello, but ended with a complicated goodbye.” When we first met, we never thought we would be friends. And now that we are, it’s just so hard to say goodbye. But then it’s not a goodbye, it’s a promise that the good times we had will always be imprinted in my heart whenever I need someone to make me smile, just like you did. After all, you only know you’ve been high when you’re feeling low. This is not the end, it’s a celebration of the journey that made me believe that you’ll be there for me when the rain starts to fall. With branch photoshoots going on, we thought it would be best to capture the fleeting moments in this exquisite painting by Saumitra Gayan.

Sometimes, you cannot help but look back at the times that were, and the people who made it so. Sometimes it is really necessary to just do what you want to do without bothering about public validation. You don't always have to put yourself out there for people to notice you. There is sanctity in doing things that'll protect you from the rest of the world. There is peace in being invisible. Most importantly there is satisfaction in knowing that you are changing the world even when you are anonymous.

People like time do not stand still. We move forward taking with us every experience that we garner. Every moment that we have shared with someone is etched onto our minds and we keep tracing those engravings when we are caught in the long stream of reminiscence only to realise that memories are never lost. They are the only thing that aren't.

Every once in a while there comes a painting that playfully dangles with our emotions before settling in our hearts permanently. This painting by Prabhu Chandan is one such. And the words by Surabhi just add more grace to it.
